Houston rapper BeatKing, whose real name was Justin Riley, tragically passed away on August 15, 2024, at the age of 39. He died from a pulmonary embolism, which is a serious condition where a blood clot blocks an artery in the lungs. BeatKing was well-known in the club music scene, particularly in Houston, and gained widespread recognition with his 2020 TikTok hit "Then Leave."
At the time of his passing, BeatKing was participating in a morning takeover at a local radio station when he suddenly collapsed. He was quickly taken to the hospital, but unfortunately, he did not survive. He leaves behind two daughters, who were reportedly by his side when he passed.
